A 19th Century word to use on All Hallows Eve

Vampyrarchy this word, rooted in the word vampire, was coined in the 1820s and refers to a parasitic group of politicians. I found out about this word from my set of Forgotten English Knowledge Cards™, which is too bad as a word this apropos should never have been forgotten.
